Frequently Asked

Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely, and happily. Roughly half of my year is spent away from California, photographing couples in Italy, Mexico, Iceland, and everywhere in between. Travel fees are included in most destination quotes and I often cover my own travel entirely for longer collections.
How far in advance should we book?
Most of my couples book between nine and eighteen months before their wedding day. I only take on a small number of weddings each year to keep the experience intentional, so I would encourage you to reach out as soon as your date is set.
What is your payment schedule?
A 25% retainer and signed contract secure your date. The remaining balance is split into two equal payments, one due six months out and the final payment due thirty days before the wedding. Custom payment plans are always available.
What does your editing style look like?
Warm, romantic, and timeless. I lean into natural tones, gentle grain, and the kind of soft film-inspired finish that ages beautifully. Your gallery will feel like a love letter, not a trend.
How long until we receive our gallery?
Sneak peeks arrive within 24 to 72 hours depending on your collection. Your full curated gallery is delivered within six to eight weeks. Album design begins shortly after, once your favorite images are selected.
Do you offer videography?
I don't shoot video myself, but I work closely with a small network of filmmakers whose work complements my own. I am always happy to make an introduction.
What happens if you're sick on our wedding day?
I have a carefully curated network of trusted associate photographers who can step in if the very rare emergency arises. In fifteen years of weddings I have never missed one, but every contract includes a backup provision for complete peace of mind.
