About

The heart behind the lens

Vivienne, wedding photographer

Hello, I'm Vivienne

A California-based wedding photographer

I fell in love with photography the way most people fall in love — slowly at first, and then all at once. What began as a quiet fascination with light and composition grew into a deep passion for documenting the most meaningful moments of people's lives.

As a wedding and portrait photographer based along the California coast, I bring an editorial eye and a calm, grounded presence to every celebration I document. My approach is rooted in connection — I believe the most beautiful photographs happen when people feel truly seen, comfortable, and free to be themselves.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me exploring tide pools with my dog, hunting for vintage linen at flea markets, or curled up with a stack of film photography books and a cup of tea. These quiet, tactile moments shape my aesthetic just as much as the weddings themselves.

Wedding moment

"I don't photograph weddings to create something perfect. I photograph them to preserve something true — the trembling hands, the unguarded laughter, the way two people look at each other when they think no one else is watching."

My Approach

How I see the world through my lens

Intentional Storytelling

Every wedding has its own rhythm — its own quiet moments and crescendos. I pay attention to the details that make your day uniquely yours: the handwritten note tucked into a pocket, the way your grandmother holds your hand, the golden light that fills the room just before sunset. These are the threads I weave into your story.

Natural Light

I'm drawn to soft, natural light — the kind that wraps around you and makes everything feel warm and unhurried. I seek out open shade, golden hour glow, and the gentle illumination of overcast skies. This approach creates images with a timeless, film-inspired quality that feels authentic rather than artificial.

Timeless Over Trendy

Trends come and go, but the way your partner looked at you during your first dance will never go out of style. I edit with a restrained hand — warm, natural tones with gentle contrast — so that your photographs feel just as beautiful in thirty years as they do today. Classic, elegant, and unmistakably you.
